The Cause
The Shades Valley Rotary Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit.
The Shades Valley Rotary Charitable Foundation supports the Rotary Club of Shades Valley in many projects including
- Local and international disaster relief
- scholarships for student leadership education, and
- scholarships for students enrolling in community colleges or trade schools.
The Glenn
Glenn E. Estess, Sr. was a beloved member of the Rotary Club of Shades Valley. He served as President of Rotary International in 2004-2005. He also served in many other leadership roles for Rotary International, The Rotary Foundation, and District 6860 during his 41 years as a Rotarian.
Glenn was a Rotary Foundation Major Donor, a Paul Harris Fellow, and a Benefactor. He was the recipient of the Citation for Meritorious Service and The Rotary Foundation's Distinguished Service Award.
